Abel Tasman Coast Track |
 On Saturday, 23 September 1995, I ran the Abel Tasman Coastal Classic race from Marahau to Totaranui. This is a black-and-white photograph of the race sweatshirt that I still own and occasionally wear. The pictures on the sweatshirt are based on an 18th-century engraving by Frederik Ottens depicting Abel Tasman’s December 1642 arrival in Golden Bay. |
