Black Mountain, Kentucky |
 The summit of Black Mountain is scruffy – along with Mississippi and South Carolina, it’s the ugliest state highpoint I’ve (thus far) seen. The most attractive part of it is this section that has a commemorative plaque (which is on the right) and a large boulder on which a geodetic survey marker is situated. |
