 Five minutes after crossing the snow in the couloir, we had to climb out of the couloir and back up onto Chicken Out Ridge's main ridge-line. The scramble Eric (on the left) and Jeff are undertaking in this picture led to the top of what has been called the "notch", which is directly above an almost permanent snow-bridge. |
