Brasstown Bald, Georgia

On 27 October 2015, I went on a short hike (in dreadful weather) to the top of Brasstown Bald, the highest mountain in Georgia. Its summit is 4,784 feet / 1,458 metres above sea-level, and the mountain is the 25th highest of the fifty US state highpoints. Brasstown Bald was the 31st US state highpoint that I'd climbed or visited.
