 I filled in the summit register, and was interested to see that Conor Crowley from Portland, Oregon, who’s name I’d seen above mine in both the Arkansas and Mississippi state highpoint summit registers, had also filled in the Florida register four days earlier. I was also interested to see that Stony Burk – a very well-known and active member of the Highpointers Club – had visited Britton Hill the day before I did. Even though I was at the highpoint by myself, I was clearly in good company. |
