The Chatham Islands |
 Getting there: Together with 20 other members of the tour led by Hamish Campbell and Deborah Crowley (who has also specialised in the geology of the Chathams), Heather and I flew from Wellington to the Chatham Islands on Friday afternoon, 18 September 2020. Our flight was originally scheduled to depart at 1:00 pm. However – in something that is a not an uncommon occurrence – our departure was delayed somewhat. |
