 Geography: The most dominant feature of the north-eastern part of Chatham Island is the Te Whanga Lagoon. It’s 160 square kilometres in size, and accounts for almost a fifth of the total area of the island. This photograph was taken shortly after taking off from the airport, and looks across some of the northern parts of the lagoon. |
