 Geography: This tree on the shores of the Te Whanga Lagoon was not nearly as wind-blown as the hardy survivor near the J.M. Barker Reserve (that was shown three photographs ago), at least in part because it was protected from the prevailing westerly winds by low hills and limestone cliffs on the lagoon’s western shores. |
