 This photograph of the Loteni Nature Reserve was also taken by my father. The Loteni river flows through the valley. In the middle distance, the park’s “rest camp” – the rondavel-like huts that constituted the area’s sole accommodation facility – is visible on the spur of a hillside above the river, while the snow-covered Drakensberg mountains form an impressive backdrop. |
