 In 1975 Dave Dodds published his well-known book about the Drakensberg. Not only did A Cradle of Rivers contain some photos I’d taken on an earlier Drakensberg expedition with Dave, but its cover featured this particularly fine photograph by Dave of the sun rising over a frozen Tugela River. |
