Back on comparative “terra firma” (i.e., on Gooseneck Ridge again), we stopped at about 1:30 pm for a lazy lunch in the sun. As can be seen from this photo, we still had a long way to go to get back down to the Dinwoody Glacier and then a long way up the steep sides of the valley wall on the opposite side of the glacier in order to reach the top of Bonney Pass. |
