 Heather and I were fairly wet – to say the least – when we arrived at the hut at 6:55 pm. It had taken us 4 hours and 45 minutes to hike the 17.5 kilometres / 10.9 miles from Brown Hut to the Perry Saddle Hut. In light of the inclement weather, given that we had taken 15 minutes less than the advertised time of 5 hours to do the hike, we were particularly pleased with our time. |
