 Summer thunderstorms accompanied by torrential rain led me to pull off the interstate highway on two occasions. Although I was generally impressed by the responsible way in which the vast bulk of the traffic drove, if someone had stopped suddenly, there would have been carnage on the road. While waiting for the first storm to pass, I took this photograph of semi-trailers squelching their way east along the I-70. |
