Climbing Kings Peak
We reached the trailhead at 8:15 pm – four and a half hours after packing up and leaving our campsite, eight and three-quarter hours after leaving the summit of Kings Peak, and exactly 13 hours after setting out for the top of the mountain in the early morning. It had been a long day.
