Introduction: Most of my web-albums begin with a photograph of a flag. Each of Australia’s six states and two mainland territories has its own flag. The six state flags all include the red, white, and blue Union Jack in their design, but the Northern Territory flag doesn’t have red, blue, or the Union Jack on it. Instead, the flag depicts the Southern Cross and a Sturt desert rose, and its predominant reddish-brown colour is similar to that of the Territory’s desert sands. |
