The Larapinta Trail, 2023 |
 Day 1 (Friday, 28 April 2023) – The Ormiston Pound Walk: While we were trekking, Michael had spent the afternoon setting up our camp and preparing our evening meal. He met us when we finished the hike, and drove us to a private campsite that trektours Australia maintains in the Ormiston valley. It was some distance from the main road and behind an unmarked locked gate. After we’d driven onto the property, I took this photograph through the van’s rear window of Ella re-locking the gate. |
