The Larapinta Trail, 2023 |
 Day 3 (Sunday, 30 April 2023) – The Aranda Walk to Inarlanga Pass, and then on Section 9 of the Larapinta Trail to the Serpentine Chalet Dam: The dam was built to provide water for the Serpentine Chalet – a pioneering tourism venture – in the 1950s. However, the dam was a failure: it leaked and couldn’t provide enough water, and the Chalet closed in 1963. |
