The Larapinta Trail, 2023 |
 Day 4 (Monday, 1 May 2023) – Section 10 of the Larapinta Trail (i.e., from the Ormiston Gorge to the Finke River): Bob had seen one of these birds earlier, but I’d missed it, so while we were walking beside the Finke River I was thrilled to see a spinifex pigeon. It was a first for me: I’d not seen one previously on trips either to the Northern Territory and or to Western Australia. |
