The Larapinta Trail, 2023 |
 Day 6 (Wednesday, 3 May 2023) – The Ellery Creek Big Hole and Standley Chasm: The traditional owners and the Angkerle Aboriginal Corporation manage the access to Angkerle Atwatye – i.e., Standley Chasm. There’s a gentle walkway with wheelchair access to the chasm. We set out along it, but roughly three-quarters of the way to the chasm, we turned left onto Section 3 of the Larapinta Trail and climbed up to a lookout above the chasm.
