 Sunday, 6 October 1991 – From Seti to Junbesi: Dropping down from the Lamjura La, we left the mist behind us, and – for a while at least – we had “a nice level walk on the contour of the hillside” (to quote my diary). Leading the pack is Tenzing (the other of our expedition’s two assistant Sherpas), and he is followed (from right to left) by Ralph, Dave, Geoff, Rod, Jon, Eric, Mike, and an unknown porter. |
