 Wednesday, 9 October 1991 – From Bhupsha to Surkhe: At 2:10 pm, we reached our destination for the day – namely, our campsite on the banks of the Suruke Khola river, near the village of Surkhe (2,339 metres). “Accompanied by the roar of the river’s water,” to quote my diary, I had a superb night’s sleep. |
