 Wednesday, 23 October 1991 – From our Lobuje East base camp to our advanced base camp: Diane took this photograph looking down onto Hidden Lake and our tents (which are to the right of the part of the tarn that’s nearest the camera). Advance base camp was 5,245 metres above sea-level, and the 365-metre climb to it from base camp took us just over an hour and twenty minutes. |
