 … Vermont’s highpoint, the 4,393-foot / 1,339-metre summit of Mt Mansfield. It is the 26th highest of America’s 50 state highpoints, and it was the fourth US state highpoint I had been to in four days. Hiking from the Mt Mansfield Visitors Centre to the summit had taken me just under 50 minutes. It was an easy hike punctuated by frequent pauses for photography. |
