 The following day I spent a lot of time in Montpelier photographing the interior of Vermont’s state capitol building before meeting my “AFS sister” in the evening for dinner. During the second half of 1962, I lived in Kent, Ohio, with Anne Liske’s family. I was delighted to learn that Anne was working in Burlington, the largest city in Vermont, and we were thus able to see each other for the first time since 1976. It was a good way to end a great trip to a lovely state. (This is the last picture in this album.) |
