Climbing Mauna Kea |
 Basecamp: Eric’s and my hosts for our trip to Hawaii were Tom and Rosemary Fitch (my daughter-in-law’s uncle and aunt), who moved from Texas to Hawaii in 2007. They live in a geodesic-dome home on the lush volcanic hillsides above Honaunau (which is south of Kailua on the west coast of Hawaii).
