Climbing Mauna Kea |
 Eric took this picture of me at about five to seven. The accommodation blocks for some of the people who work on the mountain can be seen on the right-hand side of the bush above my head. The photo also shows the scrubby nature of the scattered vegetation on the lower sections of the trail. It didn’t offer many opportunities for attractive photos of plants and flowers. |
