Climbing Mauna Kea |
 On Wednesday evening, 12 February – Eric’s and my last night on the “Big Island” of Hawaii – Rosemary, Tom, Eric and I had a picnic in the Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. As we ate our pizzas and admired the sunset, a whale obligingly surfaced in front of the setting sun. What a wonderful way to end ten superbly enjoyable and successful days on the island of Hawaii. |
