Climbing Mt Marcy, New York


We reached the turn-off to Phelps Mountain – where a tree has wrapped its roots around a large boulder in a very distinctive manner – at 8:12 am, and we again asked a passing hiker to take our photograph. After slightly less than two hours on the trail, we are both looking very happy.
