 … the easiest way to get from Kimball, Nebraska, to Mt Sunflower, Kansas, was to drive south, down US federal highway 385 that runs along the eastern edge of Colorado, until I reached Cheyenne Wells, where I turned left and headed east along US federal highway 40 and into Kansas. A mile-and-a-half after entering Kansas, I turned north and drove up a gravel road towards Mt Sunflower. |
