 This photograph of part of the map I used shows the route I took. From the Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, the Tuckerman Ravine trail heads west until it reaches Tuckerman Junction (which is about 0.2 miles beyond the top of Tuckerman Ravine headwall), and the trail then branches north for 0.6 of a mile (i.e., for roughly one kilometre) to get to the summit of the mountain. |
