Climbing Mt Washington |
 I reached the 6,288-foot / 1,917-metre summit of Mt Washington at 9:45 am on Wednesday, 28 August 2013. It had taken me exactly three-and-three-quarters of an hour to climb more than 4,000 feet (1,219 metres) – a rate of ascent of more than a thousand feet an hour, which pleased me. |
