The Northern Circuit |
 We had lunch at the hut and spent a pleasantly lazy, relaxing afternoon at it prior to the evening briefing by John, a volunteer hut warden. Sitting on the left is Cathy Killen, a member of a party of five people from New South Wales who were hiking the Northern Circuit on exactly the same four-day / three-night timetable as Heather and me. As a result, we saw them every day we were on the track and at every hut, and we enjoyed their company. |
