Offa's Dyke Path |
 Day 5 (Sunday, 20 September 2015) – Longtown to Hay-on-Wye (14 miles / 22.5 kilometres): Sheila Watkins, who owns the Crown Inn together with her husband, Phil, gave us a ride to Cayo Farm, which saved us a walk of roughly half a mile. However, to get back to the Offa’s Dyke Path, we still had to scale the Black Mountains’ escarpment, which can be seen above Bob’s head. We started climbing back up the hill at 8:50 am. |
