 Day 5 (Sunday, 20 September 2015) – Longtown to Hay-on-Wye (14 miles / 22.5 kilometres): We reached the ridge line – and the Offa’s Dyke Path – at 9:55 am. The arrows on the way-marker in this photograph point directly ahead for the Offa’s Dyke Path; to the left for Llanthony (which is the site of the Llanthony Priory); and to the right for Longtown (which was where we’d just come from). |
