Ohio and its highpoint |
 In 1962-63 I was an American Field Service scholar (i.e., a foreign exchange student) at the Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, and prior to returning to Ohio in mid-August 2013 for the 50th anniversary reunion of my AFS high school’s graduation class, I’d briefly visited the state in 1976, 1985, 1988, 1998, and 2007. In 2013, however, I caught up with more friends from Ohio than ever before, and I also added Campbell Hill to the list of US state highpoints that I’d climbed /visited. |
