 Flashback: ... members of the Liske family. In 1962, the Liskes were my first host-family in Kent, Ohio, and I took this picture of the family (including uncles, aunts and cousins) on a Lake Erie beach in early August 1962. On the left-hand end of the back row are two of my AFS brothers, Karl and Craig Liske. Their parents (i.e., my AFS parents), Ralph and Louise Liske, are to the right of Craig, and their then seven-year-old daughter, Anne, is holding the blue frisbee. Kurt Liske, the Liske’s middle son, is on the right-hand edge of the picture. |
