Portuguese Caminos de Santiago |
 Introduction: This is a map of the route that Bob, Peggy, Heather and I took to walk from Porto (in Portugal) to Santiago de Compostela (in Spain). From Arcos to Santiago, we were on the Caminho Português Central. On the first day of our walk, however, we hiked from the northern outskirts of Porto to Vila do Conde so that we could all see something of the coastal route (i.e., the Caminho Português da Costa), and on the second day we headed inland and at Arcos joined the main Portuguese Camino – namely, the central route. |
