 Day 3 (Friday, 29 September 2017) – Arcos to Barcelos (21.1 kilometres / 13.1 miles): … the Hotel Bagoeira, where we encountered yet another “great and brilliant cock” – which have become symbols not only of Barcelos, but also of all of Portugal. We reached our hotel shortly before 4:30 pm. Our third day’s walk – a half-marathon in length – had taken us seven hours. |
