 Day 7 (Tuesday, 3 October 2017) – Cossourado to Valença (13.4 kilometres / 8.3 miles): … not only were the couple from New Zealand (hence the “NZ” on the man’s scallop shell), but they were from Palmerston North (hence the “PN” on his high-visibility pack cover), roughly 140 kilometres north of where Heather and I live. Since returning to New Zealand, I have discovered that the couple from Palmerston North were Craig and Laurice McIvor. |
