 Day 10 (Friday, 6 October 2017) – Arcade to Pontevedra (13.2 kilometres / 8.2 miles): On our way into Pontevedra, we stopped for well over an hour for lunch at a café near the station. As a result, we only arrived at our hotel – the Hotel Avenida – at 2:50 pm. Although our tenth day’s hotel doorstep-to-doorstep walk had taken us five hours and fifty minutes, had we gone straight to our hotel when we reached Pontevedra, the hike would have taken us about four-and-a-half hours. |
