 Day 12 (Sunday, 8 October 2017) – Caldas de Reis to Padrón (21.1 kilometres / 13.1 miles): At lunch on our twelfth day, I was introduced to – and immediately fell in love with – pimientos. They are a speciality of the Padrón region, so much so that they’re often called pimientos de Padrón (i.e., peppers of Padrón). |
