Portuguese Caminos de Santiago |
 Day 18 (Saturday, 14 October 2017) – Vila Praia de Âncora to Viana do Castelo (we walked 18.7 kilometres / 11.6 miles): Sometime after we’d passed the remnants of the molinhos (i.e., the windmills), the coastal path we were following became a sealed road, and it wasn’t clear that we were on the road we should have been taking. As a result, we again headed east and up to the N-13 highway. After crossing the road (with some difficulty I should add), we saw a restaurant. A late lunch beckoned – and this was the flan dessert I very much enjoyed. |
