 Day 19 (Sunday, 15 October 2017) – Viana do Castelo to Esposende: Near our hotel were the remnants of an old fort. I’ve heard of people “going to hang out the washing on the Seigfried line” (to quote the words of a popular World War II song), but not of people doing so on the Esposende fort. |
