 The Chimanimani Mountains Hut, which Tom Newall a Salisbury climber I knew once described to me as the best mountain hut in Africa. Richard and I reached the hut at about noon on Monday, 11 July 1960. We spent the night there together with a fairly large party from the Mountain Club of Rhodesia that included Dave Marshall, Phil Murray, Archie, Jill, Mike, Neil, Robin, and Shirley. |
