 Like many of the state flags in the USA, Wisconsin’s flag is both blue and contains the state’s coat of arms. As a result, Wisconsin’s flag law was amended in 1979 to include both the name of the state and the year in which Wisconsin became a state, which means that the flag is now less likely to be confused with the flags of, say, Kentucky, Nebraska, or Virginia. |
