Climbing Wheeler Peak
... and Eric took this picture of me at the summit of Wheeler Peak – the tenth US state highpoint that I’d climbed. It was moderately windy and also fairly cold on top of the peak, which accounts for the fact that both Eric and I had put on an additional layer of clothes, which we wore for quite a way down the mountain as well.
