Climbing Mt Woodroffe |
 After crossing the plateau, we started climbing the ridge that’s south-east of the main massif. Progress was still fairly easy, because a fire – probably a year or so beforehand – had rid the ridge of mature spinifex. This photo was taken at 8:15 am, 55 minutes after we started out on the climb. |
