In keeping with a tradition he initiated in 2009, Eric sprinted to the summit of Mt Woodroffe. We reached the top at 10:45 am – it had taken us three hours and twenty-five minutes to climb the 685 metres / 2,247 feet from the base of the mountain to the summit. It was not, by any means, a fast ascent. Indeed, the time we took is an indication of just how significantly battling the spinifex had slowed our ascent. |
