Climbing Mt Zeil |
 ... the aftermath of a large fire (which we think took place in 2012) meant that for the vast bulk of the rest of our way to the summit, we were largely untroubled by spinifex; the new bushes on the mountain were too small to be of concern. The spine of Mt Zeil is both long and undulating. As a result, in this picture we are going down. On left-hand edge of the picture, Katie and Heloise (who is in the lead) are near the bottom of the slope, while Eric, Rachael, and Manoli are higher up on the right-hand side. |
