A three-shot panoramic view looking south-east and south from the summit of Mt Zeil. The steep lichen-covered cliffs that form the south face of Mt Zeil are visible on the left-hand edge of the picture. The hump on the horizon about thirty percent the way in from the left is Mt Sonder, while Mt Razorback is near the top of the centre of the photograph. (I should perhaps add the you can’t really see the curvature of the earth from the summit of Mt Zeil – it’s just the way in which my “photostitch” programme has joined the three photos that I’ve melded into one.) |
